Well first of all the first thing that you see when you fire up the interface is Chris Jesus Ferguson ugly mug on your left and the model lookalike Patrick Antonius to your right, you gotta start think that man, it's freaking cool to be a poker player in this site!
But if that still doesn't convince you then you might want to go back and read up on this again!
Plus i find the interface to be quite easy to use, and if you fancy yourself to be good enough, you get to play with some freaking awesome monsters in this site, namely Ivey, Durr and PA to name a few. If you're that good and that deep stack :)
In the beginning, there was the App
First thing first, go to this link and download the FTP app. All the magic mumbo jumbo that you can and will be doing will all be from this small little app.
Click on the third button label, this will shock you, Create New Account to start creating your shiny new account.
Choosing a username
-use whatever that you fancy but perhaps nothing too descriptive, i.e. imasuckynewpokerplayer probably not that good
Choosing a password
-after the recent hacking incident on gawker.com, you probably wanna avoid anything that is too obvious, i.e. password probably isn't a very secure password,
-try to use a combination of alphabets+numbers+symbols, i.e. haha123,mypwd,rocks! is better, and please don't use that one too, we wanna lose our $$ through our gambling habit and not hacked by nosy teenage hackers.
-note: used the password strength indicator to know how strong is your password
Email:
- this is where they will mail you, codes, spams, i mean news, updates and other stuff. So don't give a fake one, as you would need the authorization code later too.
Referral Code:
-This is where you get to keep in whatever sweet, mouth watering freebies promotions that is available out there.
-For our starting code, i would actually prefer that we use the HoldEm Manager code, which is another shocker here, HoldemManager, so that we can get it for free :)
Change your avatar:
Here you can choose what your poker face will be like, from a rock solid err rock to fish to shark and even a gender change.
Whew, that's a lot of typing, but that's completes your registration.
Next up, just check your email and cross your fingers and wait for the email from the FullTiltPoker people to arrive. Once it does, open it up and get the validation Code inside. You should be able to fill it into the smallish window below after you click on the button Start Playing! after you complete the registration.
What the heck is play money?
If you're played before at zynga's texas hold'em or some other fake for fun texas hold'em game, then this is the same thing. If you feel like you're not ready to play for real moolah, then you can just play in this mode for a while.
WARNING:
Since it's play money, most people don't really play tight or seriously here thus beating a million dollar worth of play money here doesn't mean that you're going to be on High Stakes Poker or Poker After Dark anytime soon.

Click on the round red chip button with the label Deposit Now.
And the windows comes alive immediately showing you all the available options that you can use to shove your money to them.
I've only had experience with two of them, MoneyBookers.com and straight via your Visa credit card. Where's the heck is PayPal you ask? I'm not sure, i guess they don't like to be linked to Poker or Gambling site?
MoneyBookers(WTF is that) or Visa?
Basically moneybookers.com is sort of like paypal, in which you setup an account, they ask some painful long and slow question to verify that you are who you claim to be, no more sandra bullock and identity theft issues, then you can deposit some $$ to that account and you can move money around via this account like how they used to do it in The Sopranos.
If you're worried and would like to have all this added benefit, then you can setup a moneybookers account. Else you can just go the simpler way and deposit via your visa credit card.
So what's wrong with the visa credit card method, uhm, not much except that if you deposit the $$ via this card then when yo uwant to withdraw money out, you have to withdraw the $$ back into this card. But hey, if you have grind hard and earned big bucks, wouldn't you wanna go on a shopping spree?
And oh, if you did setup a moneybookers account later and link it to your Full Tilt Poker account, you can still withdraw $$ straight into your moneybookers account. But do know that they will charge your for withdrawal fee, and potentially some other fees.
So back again to the visa route, just click on the Visa button to continue or MasterCard if that's what you prefer to pay for your priceless moments.
So hopefully if your credit card isn't a stolen one after filling in the details below, and click on deposit now, your money will go through usually within 30 seconds and welcome, you're ready to play for the big bucks now :)
With that, we survived through the most boring part, in the next part, i shall walk through our first table selection, our first game and the basic interface and some other stuff that you would like to know.
